Computer wise, here is what I CAN do for you.
TUTORING: I can show you how to do different things on your computer. How to use certain programs. How to adjust your settings, put backups of your information together. How to upload and download pictures, pdf’s and more. I can show you how to edit your pictures and put them into different formats. I can help you with signing up for and filling out forms and such online.
I have helped many people. I offer no pressure. I am light hearted and easy to understand and follow.
PROBLEM SOLVING: I have many years experience with computers. I don’t know everything but I have had to deal with many computer challenges over the years and that has taught me much. If your having challenges with your computer I can probably help you remedy the situation. NOTE: I am NOT familiar with Apple operating systems. Windows and Linux Yes.
WEBSITES: I have designed and built about 20 websites so yes, I can build a website for you too. Elegant and beautiful. It can have e-commerce and more if you like. It will be set up so that you can easily update your website yourself or, I can do them updates for you as you wish.
E-MAIL: I can help you set it up. Add files to keep emails in. Set up alias email addresses, type letters and other things up for you. Make it look nice and send it off in an email. I can show you how to get rid of Spam emails..
CLOUD SERVICES: I can show you how to use them for storage of pictures and documents etcetera.
CELL PHONES: Have an android phone? Having some challenges with it? I may be able to help you out, see some options and learn how to use it better. Sometimes even phones have memory issues. Sometimes it’s malicious applications and other times it’s a settings challenge.
GRAPHIC DESIGN: I am self taught so I have some limitations however, since I am largely led by my intuition, I have a knack for coming up with the perfect graphic for you, your business or organization.
I have been designing business cards for people for many years. I have the ability to realize and create the perfect business card for you. Artful ideas flow through me. I choose just the right font, size and colors. You will be amazed!
I also design personal and informational cards, flyers, pamphlets and more.
As far as what I can’t do:
I don’t repair computers or laptops.
I have no experience with Apple computers so I can’t help you with them.
I am not a ‘Webmaster’ so there is a lot that I cannot do in that regard. I am self taught.
LASTLY,
Operating systems: You have your Apple systems, Microsoft systems and your Linux systems. Apple is thought of as the best by many. Microsoft...run for the hills! It’s terrible. So many vulnerabilities and back doors it’s not funny. Not reliable, not friendly. Apple has given all it’s security keys to Communist China and make their phones with basically slave labor so I don’t recommend it. Apple is not trustworthy..
Linux however is what we all should be on. It’s a no muss, no fuss operating system. While there are far fewer programs written for it you can largely find what you need. I recommend you changeover to Linux operating system. It IS dependable, it is safe and it’s largely hassle free. I can help you make the change-over. What a blessing it is to not have to concern oneself with internet virus’s. All that malicious internet stuff just goes away once you get a Linux OS.
